It may look like it’s just a box, but to my customers, it’s what helps drive their business. The question: how do we get more yogurt to market? In order to answer that question, we needed to address several issues. Poor visibility, poor palletization, poor shop-ability and awkward sizing for the refrigerator at home.
By changing the way the product was packed inline, we introduced a 15% material saving while increasing the amount of yogurt Chobani should ship to store by 25% per year. This also increased marketing real estate to the side of the carton.
We actually made it better, faster AND cheaper.
